Bob has extensive personal business experience, and has been licensed in real estate since 1975. He specializes in the sale and leasing of commercial and industrial properties. He also has extensive knowledge of Tenants in Common transactions and 1031 Tax-Deferred Exchanges.
Bob has lived in Eugene since 1968 and is very active with a community non-profit agency.
Bob is a CCIM Candidate and has completed countless hours of continuing education in the field of commercial properties. He is Manager of the Commercial Department at Windermere Real Estate/Lane County.
Bob is Past President of the local Commercial Investment Division and of the Willamette Business Association. He is a consistent producer in commercial transactions. He has an extensive network within the community of commercial brokers and will work very hard for you.
I come from a family with deep real estate roots and have been around the industry my entire life. After receiving a BA in Business Administration/Marketing Management from Central WA U in 2003 I joined on with Windermere/North Inc. I immediately jumped into sales/listings and began helping my clients with all their real estate needs. After two years I earned my Managing Broker license and bought into my company as co-owner. I was a Managing Broker/Owner at Windermere/North Inc. until spring of 2012. In spring 2012 my wife Angela and I relocated back to her home town of Eugene, OR to raise our two beautiful daughters, Alexis and Andy. At that time I joined on as a Principal Broker at Windermere Real Estate/Lane County. In July 2013 I bought into Windermere/Lane County and run the company with my business partners Matt and Tanya Powell.
Real estate is a passion of mine and has been since I can remember. There are many different approaches to real estate and that is one of the things I love most about it. Real estate can be the place to call home and build memories, it can be an investment to help build wealth for the future or even be a get-away that holds a special place in your heart. Born, raised, and worked in Lane County, Oregon. Attended Oregon State University, University of Oregon, and graduated from Northwest Christian University. Working experience includes manufacturing management, elected state office, government affairs consulting, and Real Estate. Jim and his wife have lived in Elmira, OR for the past 40 years and presently living with them is their yellow lab (Roscoe), tom cat (Bigfoot) and 4 chickens. Recreation involves gardening and water sports in the beautiful state of Oregon.

Every time a Windermere broker sells a home, a portion of the commission goes to the Windermere Foundation, a non-profit organization. Contributions from Windermere brokers combined with contributions from Windermere employees and the public have allowed the Windermere Foundation to distribute in excess of a million dollars annually in recent years to non-profit agencies dedicated to helping homeless, low-income families and children.

Windermere’s Annual Community Service Day, held every June for the last ten years. This year, over 70 Windermere brokers, staff, managers, and family members volunteered to help with harvesting, weeding and other gardening chores, at the Food for Lane Country Grass Roots Garden.
Windermere and Whitaker Community Dinners have joined forces on a Coat and Blanket Drive for four years running. Last year, donations through Windermere generated the majority of needed items and it’s expected that this year’s drive will be another great year.
Windermere was a proud sponsor of the Eugene 08 festival surrounding the 2008 Olympic Track and Field Trails. In addition to the company’s financial contributions, agents and staff orchestrated the Windermere Art Challenge as a way to involve local youth in the festivities. Windermere received over 150 entries, and the grand-prize winners in each category received four sky suite tickets to the Trials.
Windermere Real Estate/Lane County was honored as the 2008 Emerald Award Winner for Community Caring. The Eugene Area Chamber of Commerce honored and hosted the fifth annual wards ceremony. Nearly 400 local business and community leaders attended the event. Winners were selected from a record-breaking 90 nominations.
History of Company
Windermere Real Estate/Lane County (the Company) has deep historical roots. Founded in 1974 by Jean Tate, after great success the company was sold in 1989 to a group of eight local real estate brokers. Jean Tate Real Estate became part of the Windermere franchise in 1998.
Windermere Commercial at 1165 Pearl Street, Eugene, Oregon opened in the summer of 2013.

Justin Schmick has been in real estate since 1999. As a Commercial Broker, Justin represents investors and businesses in the sale and leasing of commercial real estate. His knowledge of the local real estate markets and the depth of his professional network allows him to offer his clients a full range of commercial real estate services. In particular he works with retail, office, industrial, multifamily and raw land. Over his career, Justin has successfully completed over 500 real estate transactions. Justin did his graduate work at University of Denver through their executive program in Real Estate and Construction Management. He completed his undergraduate degree at Marylhurst University and earned a B.S. in Business Management, with emphasis in Real Estate. Justin is also a LEED Accredited Professional and has completed all of the course work required to earn the prestigious C.C.I.M. designation.
